Israel Defies World and Scientists have and Ohh 😮 Moment

Do Neanderthal Still Inhabit the Middle East?

Israel defies the world!  Netanyahu tells over 100,000 citizens of Gaza to evacuate, Israel is going to destroy Rafah.

In 15 speech Monday, Mr. Netanyahu rejected accusations that Israel was committing genocide in the Gaza Strip. He claimed statistics do not differentiate between civilians and terrorists.

Mr. Netanyahu said that Israel’s military does everything it can to avoid harming civilians and that it has allowed aid to flow through to Gaza to avoid a humanitarian crisis. A United Nations official recently said that parts of Gaza are experiencing “full-blown famine.” (NYT left out humanitarian aide’s were caught working with terrorists which led to halt in aid.)

Mr. Netanyahu made a point to say a few words in English that were aimed at the international community. He invoked the Holocaust in asserting Israel’s right to defend itself, with or without international support.

“If Israel is forced to stand alone, Israel will stand alone,” he said. “But we know we are not alone because countless decent people around the world support our just cause. And I say to you, we will defeat our genocidal enemies. Never again is now!”

In giant NO SHIT moment, scientists who never worked with tools in their life finally released Neanderthal most likely used wood as tools over stone because it’s far easier to work with!

In 1836, Christian Jürgensen Thomsen, a Danish antiquarian, brought the first semblance of order to prehistory, suggesting that the early hominids of Europe had gone through three stages of technological development that were reflected in the production of tools. The basic chronology — Stone Age to Bronze Age to Iron Age — now underpins the archaeology of most of the Old World (and cartoons like “The Flintstones” and “The Croods”).

Thomsen could well have substituted Wood Age for Stone Age, according to Thomas Terberger, an archaeologist and head of research at the Department of Cultural Heritage of Lower Saxony, in Germany.

“We can probably assume that wooden tools have been around just as long as stone ones, that is, two and a half or three million years,“ he said. “But since wood deteriorates and rarely survives, preservation bias distorts our view of antiquity.” Primitive stone implements have traditionally characterized the Lower Paleolithic period, which lasted from about 2.7 million years ago to 200,000 years ago. Of the thousands of archaeological sites that can be traced to the era, wood has been recovered from fewer than 10.- NYT

Meet Shanidar Z - Neanderthal - Iraqi

Shanidar Z has a low forehead, wide cheekbones and a calm demeanour. With her flowing black hair and wrinkles between her eyes that look like equal parts mirth and worry, she might be someone’s wise grandmother.

Last week she was revealed to the world after scientists used 3d imaging to reconstruct her face.  The entire mythology around Neanderthal is being rejected and replaced. Once thought to have a brutal lifestyle, Neanderthal are now seen as exhibiting compassion and living longer life spans.
