Pope Francis gives Sunday Mass in St Peter’s Square for Palm Sunday: 


Pope Francis offered prayers today “to the victims of the vile terrorist attack carried out the other night in Moscow,” telling the faithful gathered in St. Peter’s Square in Rome for Palm Sunday Mass that he hoped God would comfort and bring peace to their families and “convert the hearts of those who plan, organize and implement these unhuman acts.’  NYT

Financier Ross Stevens Threatens Rescind $100 M Gift Unless Magill Ousted

 Continuing yesterdays discussion on free speech on college campuses, after Rep Elise Stefanik's grilling of Penn president Liz Magill went viral, founder and chief executive officer of Stone Ridge Holding Group, announced to Penn he would rescind  $100 million gift if university did not replace Magill.  According to WSJ sources, some board members met virtually after meeting with Ross due to the evolving controversy, although no formal vote was cast. Most attendees were overwhelmingly supportive of Magill according to WSJ.  However, there is growing public criticism from both left and right against all three presidents involved in yesterdays panel to congress.
